Garden Party Baby Shower

Hello friends! I had the amazing experience to collaborate with some very talented people, Kayla Coleman at kaylacolemanphotography.com and Brynn Szorady at acharmingfete.com for this lovely baby shower in North Royalton. When I was told this was a garden themed party, I knew I had to do it. And when I showed up at the location and saw all of the flowers, the colors of the balloons (flowers in the balloons), and all of the petals in the pool, I knew that my desserts had found their spot.

To be a flower lover and be amongst so much beauty is my happy place.

I made 3” mini-cakes with my special vanilla cake, homemade strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream (with a hint of almond). Each one was decorated with homegrown edible flowers from my backyard. The roses are so abundant this year and my particular favorite is the apricot rose.

I also made my famous classic flower cookies all with edible flowers. Although my baking started with making pies with my Grandmother, these cookies I call my own and are my first “business” love.

To work with such amazing women in support of helping each other be successful, is a true joy of mine. One that has made owning my own business so worth it and memorable with each new person I get to meet.

These pictures speak to the true beauty of collaboration and love put into each and every piece. I’m sure this garden baby shower made the mom-to-be feel very special and I was honored to be a part of this exquisite day.
